About the Falcon Hotel Carmarthen

The Falcon Hotel is a Carmarthen institution popular with locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re visiting from abroad or just looking for somewhere great to eat, we will welcome you with open arms.

Historic, Family-run Hotel

The Falcon Hotel has been around for over one hundred years. For more than half that time, it has been run by the very same family that runs it today. With so much history comes a lot of character, just like Carmarthen itself. The Falcon is therefore the ideal place to immerse yourself in Welsh history and explore the surrounding area.

The Ideal Venue

The Falcon Hotel features a beautiful function suite, ideal for weddings, parties, business conferences and more and more. Our air-conditioned suite can accommodate up to 80 people for a wedding breakfast, and up to 120 for an evening reception. We also have a smaller meeting room that seats up to 25 people for corporate events.

All our staff are experienced delivering excellent service for all occasions, so you can relax in the knowledge that your special day is in safe hands. In addition, wedding gets are eligible for discounted room rates if they choose to stay the night, helping keep costs down on what can be an expensive occasion.

Our function suite is also fully accessible, including an accessible WC. So, you can be confident that your less mobile guests will have no trouble joining in the fun.
